My friend Chino and I daytripped out to Salida on Saturday - I finished sanding my board early that morning. The waves were fun - I knew that Julius was on the small side. It floated me well - just too small for the conditions. Chino had a nice long ride on it. I switched to our wedding fish and stood up and surfed a bit on my first wave. A pic of Chino's homemade board - foam with plywood skin (not veneer - this sucka is heavy).
